1. How long does delivery take?

Delivery time depends on your location and the product ordered:

Lagos (Paid Orders): 1–2 business days

Lagos (Cash on Delivery): 2–4 business days

Outside Lagos: 3–5 business days

Nationwide Standard Delivery: 3–5 business days

Express Delivery: 1–2 business days

Worldwide Delivery: 7–21 business days

2. When are orders processed?

Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
Orders placed after business hours or during holidays will be processed on the next working day.

3. Do you offer same-day delivery?

Same-day delivery may be available for selected products and locations in Lagos.

4. How can I track my order?

Q1: How long do I have to return a product?
You have 7 days from the date of delivery.

Q2: Can I return an installed item?
No. Items must be unused and uninstalled.

Q3: Can I get a refund if my order was not delivered?
Yes, within 30 days from the order date.

Q4: What items are not returnable?
Installed products, tampered items, clearance items, and software-based products.

Q5: Who pays for return shipping?

Basec Africa pays if we delivered a wrong or defective item.

Customer pays if return is based on preference or change of mind.

Q6: How long does a refund take?
5–7 business days after inspection approval.

Q7: Is warranty different from return policy?
Yes. Warranty covers manufacturer defects only and follows a different process.

1. Why do I need to pay a deposit for Cash on Delivery?

The deposit confirms that you are committed to receiving your order. Many COD orders placed online are not claimed due to unserious customers, emergencies, or last-minute changes. The deposit ensures we don’t lose logistics costs when processing and dispatching your order.

2. How much deposit do I need to pay?

The deposit may be:

A percentage of your total order,

A fraction of the amount,

Or just the delivery fee.

The exact deposit varies depending on the product type and delivery location.

3. Is my deposit refundable?

Yes.

If you decide not to proceed before we dispatch the item, your deposit is fully refundable.

If the item has already been dispatched, we deduct logistics cost only and refund the remaining balance.

4. What happens if I refuse the delivery after the item has been dispatched?

If the item has already been sent to you, the dispatch cost will be deducted from your deposit.

The balance will be refunded to you.

5. What if I change my mind or find the product elsewhere?

You are free to cancel your order.

However, once the item is already dispatched, logistics fees will be deducted from the deposit before a refund is processed.

6. What if I am not available when the rider arrives?

You can instruct someone to receive the package on your behalf because if delivery attempts fail due to unavailability or unanswered calls, the logistics fee will be deducted from the deposit.

You can request re-delivery by paying an additional delivery fee.

7. Is COD available for all locations?

COD is available for selected Lagos locations.

For locations outside Lagos, prepayment or part payment may be required.

8. Why can’t you deliver first without any deposit?

Because COD orders have the highest rate of failed deliveries.

When customers have no financial commitment, many tend to:

Not pick calls

Change their mind

Delay the rider

Ignore the delivery

Claim emergencies

This causes the company to lose money on logistics and handling.

The deposit eliminates unserious orders and ensures fast delivery for genuine customers.

9. How do I make the deposit?

OPTION A: You will receive a secure payment link.

OPTION B: To our official bank account details.

10. What if I don’t want to pay a deposit?

If you are not comfortable with COD deposit, you can choose.

Full payment before delivery, or

Bank transfer, Paystack, or card payment

These methods receive priority processing and fastest delivery.
